The College of Education is Oregon’s largest and most comprehensive school of education, with more than 50 programs for teachers, human service providers, and trainers. The majority of Oregon’s public school administrators have received licensure through Portland State, and more than 200 graduates of the doctoral program hold positions of influence in educational settings throughout the region. The College of Education prepares professionals to be leaders in a variety of settings: public schools, libraries, counseling clinics, social service agencies, institutions of higher education, and adult education programs.
We are conveniently located in downtown Portland. Campus facilities provide a central site for those who work and live near the city. Programs are also offered throughout the metropolitan area, at select sites statewide, and online.
